How to describe how big something is? well, I can tell km, or any other measurement unit; or say that an entire airport runway would fit in (which is not the case, but anyway, who has a real physical experience of how long a runway is to walk on your shoes…?). Let’s just think of lot sizes, remember my imperial system readers that one of our sq m is roughly equivalent to 10 of your sq ft, and this is probably as good as we can get. Otherwise, walking between extreme points in this map takes about half an hour of brisk walking, counting stops at traffic lights.

You can also notice that this area is a grid, but by no means a totally regular one… more in next chapters
